this picture shows the significant of the moose in this chapter. As what starson stated, "They had a lot of moose and reindeer like ten thousand miles around it. It was also filled with many kinds of different birds. They all lived on a vast tract of mountainous terrain that occupies the southwest corner of South Island, New Zealand. The land was folded and twisted and all broken up. "
